JANNA COPPAGE
Managing DirectorJanna Coppage began dancing at 7 years old, at Bobbi and Helens School of Dance in Virginia Beach. While she studied all areas of dance her passions were in Jazz and Tap. Janna began teaching at In Motion Dance in 2006 where she taught all preschool age dance classes and continued when Piedmont In Motion took over in 2008. Janna has been married for 3 years and is a mother of 2 children and a step mother to her 2 "bonus children". She proudly serves as the PTO president at Yowell Elementary School and on the Culpeper Football Association Board. In addition Janna is a 2 plus year breast cancer survivor and is a huge breast cancer activist. She works hard with the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life and is also proud to say she is part of the Pink Ribbon Gals.
JENN CLUBB
Studio ManagerJenn Clubb has been dancing for 14 years and has trained under many instructors. She was the dance team captain for four years in a row and competed statewide. She was a member of the Piedmont Dance Company for 6 years. Jenn began teaching at age 16 and has taught ever since! Jenn's dance passions are Jazz, Hip-Hop and Lyrical. She loves the freedoms you can have with these types of dance. She enjoys teaching all age levels. Jenn is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud Army wife. She recently became a mom to a beautiful baby girl and is loving every moment of being a new mom.
CLAIRE ROSENBERGER
Claire Rosenberger began dancing at the age of 9, at the Falls Church School of Ballet with former prima ballerina Elisabeth Graetzer. During the following decade, she studied classical ballet, pointe and character, and taught classes from beginners to adults. At Virginia Commonwealth University, Ms. Rosenberger studied ballet, modern, and jazz (with Tanya Dennis), performing with the University Dance Ensemble. After two years, she became a student teacher at the university. Mrs. Rosenberger's began teaching with In Motion in 1994 after moving from Northern Virginia with her young children to Amissville. During her time there, she taught intermediate and upper level ballet and pointe classes and in 2005, performed with Piedmont In Motion's production of Cinderella, in the role of the Stepmother. Mrs. Rosenberger has been married for 25 years and has 2 grown sons. She works as an office manager in Warrenton, and previously worked as a Teacher's Assistant in the Culpeper elementary schools.
Tiffany Simoes
Tiffany Simoes began dancing at the age 6 at which time she found a passion and love for dance. In addition to dance she enjoyed playing soccer while growing up. Tiffany grew up in Selden, NY before moving to Virginia at the age of 14. At age 16 Tiffany began teaching dance, and at age 20 was proudly selected to tour with the Hoctor's Dance Caravan in 2003. She toured with them on the east coast and throughout Canada. Tiffany feels this was one of the best experiences in her life and she learned so much from the tour. She was instructed under many famous dancers such as Anthony Locascio (a tap dog), Barry Youngblood (the original White Power Ranger) and Jerry Rose (Dirty Dancing) just to name a few. She is a business owner, HR Manager with Walmart and is a mother to a wonderful 3 year old little boy.
Sarah Say
Sarah Say has been dancing since age 3. She is originally from a small town located 45 minutes north of Pittsburg and has resided in Culpeper for the past 7 years. Sarah is married to Jeff Say who is an editor at the Star Exponent and she is a second grade teacher at Emerald Hill Elementary School. Recently Sarah received her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Sarah has taken many styles of dance including ballet, tap, pointe and jazz and has competed in competitions as well. She currently teaches Ballet and Tap.
Dawn Borja
Dawn Borja was a USAG certified instructor at Culpeper Gymnastics, Inc. for two years and is currently an instructor at a recreational gymnastics program in Orange county. In addition to teaching tumbling classes at Let's Dance of Culpeper, Dawn works as a gymnastics instructor for Culpeper County Parks & Recreation. She will also be working as the assistant coach for the Orange County High School gymnastics team in the upcoming year. Dawn is a certified BodyFlow instructor at Gold's Gym in Culpeper. In the coming months, she will be pursuing an AFAA Primary Group Exercise certification as well as a Personal Trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise. Dawn believes in teaching kids to have fun through fitness so they can develop a healthy lifestyle that will hopefully carry on into their adult life. She looks forward to meeting her new students at Let's Dance of Culpeper and having a great year!
Wendy
Miss Wendy started dancing at the age of 4 at Dance Etc. School of the Arts in Woodbridge, VA. She studied ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, broadway, Fosse, theater, and fine arts and began assisting classes at the age of 15. At the age of 18 she began dancing and teaching at Terry's School of Dance and Gymnastics in Alexandria. Here, she competed at a National Pro/Am level in Jazz and Lyrical and became a Choreographer's Assistant to Anthony Wortham. Miss Wendy worked with Mr. Wortham for 5 years at Terry's and at Fairfax High School through the Fairfax Academy for Communication Arts dance program. Through this, she had the opportunity to assist jazz great Gus Giordano in master classes, became the stage manager for the Fairfax Academy dance program, and co-coordinated auditions for the Cappie Awards at the Kennedy Center in 2002. She has been teaching and choreographing in the area for the last 7 years. Miss Wendy is certified to teach through Dance Masters of America.
